Eligibility Criteria for Clerk

The eligibility criteria for the candidates are mentioned below:

Education Qualification

  • Candidates need to have a Graduation degree from any of the recognized university of the country.
  • Student appearing in the final year can also apply.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age decided for the job is 20 years and maximum is 28 years. The age should be attain by the time 1st April 2019.
  • The relaxation in the age is also given to the chosen categories. Those who are belonging to the SC and ST Categories for them relaxation is 5 years. For the other backward classes the relaxation is 3 years. For PWD and EWS classes it is 10 years.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is divided in various steps. Check the procedure in the description:

  • Preliminary Exam: This is the one hour test consist only MCQ Questions. The exam is divided in 3 sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning. There will be 100 question each question carries 1 marks and negative marking is also there.
  • Main Exam: After the prelims exam, candidates those who cleared the exam they will be allowed to give the main exam. This exam will have 190 questions of 200 marks. For every wrong answer ¼ marks will be cut.

Application Fee

The application fee is the sum amounted for every candidates need to pay as a examination fee. We like to inform you that the fee can only be submitted online through internet banking, ATM/ Debit and Credit Card. The relaxation in the fees is given below

  • For the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD the examination fees is Rs. 125.
  • For all the rest categories the fees is Rs. 750.
  • Once the fees is submitted, it is not refunded.
